SIP · coming soon
Build a gold habit, one step at a time.
Buy gold or silver every month at that day’s rate. SIP opens soon — here is exactly how it is designed to work.

Coming soon
SIP is coming soon: no payment is taken, no mandate is created and no metal is being held. The pause and cancel rules are not final either. The full terms are published before anything starts.
How SIP works.
Same amount every month. Gold’s price moves, so the weight you get moves with it.

GoldSilver
Each instalment
₹2,000
The same amount every time
Only the first instalment can be worked out today. Each later one is priced at that day’s rate, so the weight it buys is set on the day it is bought.
In your account
Each completed instalment would be listed as its own order, with the date it ran, the rate it used and the weight it came to. Totals would be added up only from instalments that actually ran — never projected.

A plan would buy one metal. Gold and silver are priced from their own separate feeds, and a plan would follow whichever you picked.
The same rupee amount on every instalment, until you changed it. This is a regular purchase of a fixed size, not a variable contribution.
How often the purchase repeats. The schedule would be shown to you in full before anything was confirmed.
Every instalment would be priced at that day’s rate, so the weight each one buys is set on the day it is bought.
Each completed instalment listed with its own date, the rate it used and the weight it came to. A record of things that happened — never a projected balance.
Work the arithmetic yourself.
Change the metal, the amount, the frequency and the count. It shows what you would contribute — and is explicit about the figures nobody can give you.
An example, to show the arithmetic
Nothing here creates a plan or sends anything anywhere. It works out what you would contribute — and shows plainly what cannot be worked out.
Total you would contribute
₹24,000
12 monthly instalments of ₹2,000, over about 1 year. That figure is the money in, and nothing else.
- Instalment 1
- 0.137 g of fine gold at today’s rate, before our coin premium and any GST.
- Instalments 2 to 12
- Each is priced at that day’s rate, so the weight it buys is set on the day it is bought.
This deliberately shows no future value, no total weight, no return and no profit. Coins & Bars does not forecast the metal rate, and a figure that depends on a rate nobody has seen is a guess wearing a decimal point.
What a SIP is.
A systematic investment plan means buying a set amount at a set interval instead of in one go. Applied to metal, it is simply a standing decision to buy the same rupee amount of gold or silver each time — no more than that.
What it does not mean
It is not a deposit, not a scheme with a maturity, and not a product with a return attached. Buying regularly changes the price you pay on average; it makes no promise about what the metal will be worth. Coins & Bars does not forecast rates and nothing on this site projects a future value.
What you would end up with
A record of every instalment — its date, rate and weight. How and when that weight reaches you as coins is not decided yet, and nothing is held for anyone today.
The rules that are not settled — yet.
A plan is a commitment, so the terms have to exist before anyone can agree to one. These are the decisions nobody has made.
- Pausing and cancelling
- Not decidedThe intention is that you control the schedule without asking us. How much notice a pause needs, whether a part-completed instalment is refunded or completed, and whether anything is charged for stopping are all open. Nothing is final, and nothing will be enforced against anyone before it is published.
- Fees, and what a missed payment does
- Not decidedWhether a plan carries any charge of its own, what happens when a scheduled payment fails, and how many failures end a plan have not been decided. We are not going to describe them on this page before they are true.
- When the terms appear
- Not decidedBefore the feature does. A plan is a standing instruction, and the conditions attached to one belong in front of the person agreeing to it — not in a document published afterwards.
Where it actually stands today.
So there is no confusion about what exists.
Built
The pricing engine a SIP would use: a validated live rate feed, purity-specific rebasing, integer-paise arithmetic and a server-side price confirmation. That part is real and already prices every coin on this site.
Not built
The plan itself. No schedule, no mandate, no recurring payment, no instalment ledger, no pause or cancel, and no published terms. None of it exists in this system today.
In the meantime you can buy a coin outright — see the gold coins and the silver coins.
